What Do Authentic Ukrainian Clothing and “Shchedryk” Have in Common?
How a Unique Video for Svarga Turned Tradition into a Global Message
What do centuries-old embroidery and a 100-year-old melody have in common with modern animation and global storytelling?
For Svarga, a Ukrainian fashion brand rooted in heritage, the answer lies in a unique video we created — one that blends real footage with collage animation, wrapping it all in the iconic sounds of “Shchedryk.”

A Visual Anthem of Ukrainian Identity
“Shchedryk,” known globally as “Carol of the Bells,” is more than a seasonal tune. It’s a cultural ambassador. Pairing this beloved melody with Svarga’s fashion wasn’t just an aesthetic choice — it was a statement.
We wanted to show that Ukrainian design, like the swallow in “Shchedryk,” is not only flying high — it’s flying far. And the world? It’s watching. It wants more.

A Modern Take on Authenticity
Brand authenticity and strategic video marketing are no longer just nice-to-haves — they’re essential. For Svarga, we built a concept that reflected both their artistic vision and national identity. Every stitch in their clothing carries meaning; our video had to echo that with every frame.
Together, we chose a mixed media approach — collage animation fused with real product footage. This not only made the video visually striking but also elevated the brand’s core values: originality, quality, and deep cultural roots.

Behind the Scenes
Our process was comprehensive and collaborative:
🔹 Research
🔹 Concept & Script
🔹 Illustrations
🔹 Animation & Sound Design

Every element worked together to turn a promotional video into a piece of art. The result? A story that feels real, relevant, and unmistakably Ukrainian.
The Swallow Takes Flight
The Ukrainian swallow flies once again — this time, across digital skies, showcasing Svarga’s bold identity to a global audience.
